Arika grew up on a farm West of the twin cities in Buffalo, Mn. and attended The Blake School in Minneapolis, Mn, and Union College in Schenectady, NY. Arika gained an appreciation for both small town life and the city life. She is one of four children, and she quickly learned the skills of cooperation and mediation. Arika was busy thinking of everyone else, and wanted people to be happy, reach their potential and enjoy their lives.

Arika learned real estate from her father, who seemed to always be buying or selling something whether it be farm land, commercial buildings, residential or investment properties. Fortunately, her father has owned Sanibel Island real estate for many years, so Arika grew up vacationing on Sanibel and has seen the many changes over the past 28 years. While crossing the causeway to the islands, Arika would feel the stress of everyday life disappear and always thought, “I have arrived!” Not only does she want you to feel as you have arrived, but she desires to welcome her clients to the islands and make the of lifestyle of the islands their home and way of life.
