David originally from Birmingham Michigan, graduated from the Center for Creative Studies, with a BFA. Studies included:  graphic arts, photography, design, marketing and advertising studies.

David and his wife, Chandra, share that “Local Knowledge” having been Island business owners and residents. David has had the fortune of owning Sanibel homes, rental properties and a thriving small bed and breakfast style inn. David’s Innkeeper background, quality control detail, field work and management experience with Royal Shell Vacations rental management company contributed to his extensive knowledge of the Islands rental complexities and the unique Island properties from condos to cottages to luxury homes.

David, along with his wife and son, enjoy participating with the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundations Sea Turtle Research program. David is permitted through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation committee to conduct nesting surveys, strandings, salvage and next relocation activities on Sanibel & Captiva Islands. Prior to becoming a full time licensed Realtor, David experienced over 25 visits to the closing table as a real estate buyer or seller with his own personal investment transactions and he knows the right way to treat a client. He truly understands buyer and seller expectations.
